Liveable Cities Challenge PH - Online Education Under COVID

By LCP Secretariat
July 17, 2020 - Quezon City

The Liveable Cities Challenge PH and the League of Cities of the Philippines, in partnership with Globe Telecom, are pleased to present Liveable Cities Labs, a series of webinar sessions to gear up cities with knowledge and insights for designing better solutions for their communities.

Our Labs will focus on such topics as Online Education, Digital Health Delivery, E-Commerce, Contactless Payment Systems and Digital Cash, GovTech, Mobility, and much more.

The first Liveable Cities Lab will focus on Digital Transformation in a Post-GCQ World: Online Education Under COVID. In light of the COVID pandemic, the global lockdown has greatly affected educational institutions and has caused a major and unequal interruption in students' learning. In order to gear us with information on how we can address this new normal, the discussion will revolve on how the use of technology can help create a resilient education system and help students bounce-back and continue their learning. Likewise, it also underscores the critical role of cities on how they can help schools shift from traditional, face-to-face education to online education, and the challenges of connectivity, devices, curriculum, teacher training. Lastly, the lab will also emphasize the importance of embracing and embedding technology and innovation in their current policies and operations, as well as the importance of building a strong and reliable infrastructure.

The first lab will be on 22 July 2020 (Wednesday), 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. Sign up now at https://bit.ly/LCCLAB1EDUC.
