We are pleased to inform you that the Department of Foreign Affairs thru the Department of the Interior and Local Government is inviting Philippine cities to attend the Forum for East Asia-Latin America Cooperation (FEALAC), entitled "II Cultural, Tourism and Sustainable Development Meeting of the Network of Cultural Cities of FEALAC Member Countries" on 21-22 August 2018 in the City of San Salvador de Jujuy, Argentina.

 

As a background, the Network of Cultural Cities is a project of FEALAC that aims to strengthen local cooperation in tourism, culture, and sports among local leaders. The first meeting of the network was held in Hue, Vietnam in April 2017. As an active member of the FEALAC, OF A is respectfully requesting for the participation of Philippine cities to the event.

Based on the available Situational Reports from the National Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (NDRRMC), a total of 64 cities have been affected by Typhoon Quinta, Rolly, and Ulysses.
