The National ICT Confederation of the Philippines (NICP) and the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) would like to kindly request for your support in disseminating information to your members about the 2nd eGOV Awards for LGUs or the “Jesse Robredo Award of Excellence in ICT for Good Governance”.

In November 2012, several local government units were awarded for projects and programs where they integrated information and communications technology (ICT) during the 5th NICP National ICT Summit in the City of Sta. Rosa, Laguna hosted by its ICT Council.

The eGov Awards is the first and most prestigious recognition to be given by the ICT sector to LGUs with exemplary performance in empowering its Public Customers and Business. The awards aim to recognize two (2) categories: The Best in eGov Customer Empowerment (G2C) Award and The Best in eGov Business Empowerment (G2B) Award

The 2013 eGOV Awards will be held on November 29, 2013 at the Bohol Tropics Resort Hotel in Tagbilaran City, Bohol. We expect more than 60 local government units to be represented, along with hundreds of representatives from various local line agencies, colleges and universi-ties, and companies. Various ICT Councils and LGUs from from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao converged to review, evaluate, plan, share best ICT practices.

Please note that we have EXTENDED the deadline to October 15, 2013. Attached herein is the FAQ for eGOV Awards 2013, Nomination Templates, TOR and Briefer. For more information, feel free to contact the undersigned at 0922-872-1447 or email at egov.nicp@gmail.com. Thank you and more power!
