The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) recently issued Local Budget Circular (LBC) No. 120 dated 15 August 2019 prescribing the guidelines on the release and utilization of the Local Government Support Fund – Assistance to Cities (LGSF-AC) under FY 2019 General Appropriations Act (GAA), Republic Act (RA) No. 11260.

 

Under the FY 2019 GAA, RA No. 11260, an amount of Php 2,489,800,000 was appropriated for the LGSF-AC which shall be used to enhance the existing or develop new public open spaces in publicly-owned lands that are free and accessible to the general public , and serve the purpose of making cities sustainable, livable and resilient by designing for the environment and for the people.

 

In this regard, we are pleased to provide a copy of LBC No. 120. Annex A of the attached Circular indicates the allocation for each city.
