The Australia Awards are the international development scholarship program of the Australian Government that aim to develop leadership and build partnerships and enduring linkages between Australia and its partner developing countries including the Philippines. Australia Awards in the Philippines support Masters and Phd programs in the following areas:

 

1. Trade and Economics
2. Local Economics Development
3. Infrastructure
4. Peace and Development
5. Social Protection
6. Governance
7. Basic Education
8. Foreign Relations
9. Mining and Mining-Related Fields
10. Humanitarian and Disaster Risk Mangement

 

The Australia Awards Scholarships are for high-achieving Filipinos who demonstrate passion for intellectual pursuit and who are committed to development work. The program doesn't have an age limit and is open to qualified applicants who meet the eligibility criteria posted in their website at www.australiawardsphilippines.org.
