Together with Covid-19 Action Network Philippines, the League of Cities of the Philippines will be organizing an online dialogue between city mayors and the DepEd regarding the role of city governments in the implementation of the BASIC EDUCATION during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

 
Special participants include DepEd Usec. Annalyn Sevilla; CAN Lead Convenor Dr. Eddie Dorotan; LCP National President and Bacolod City Mayor Bing Leonardia; LCP Focal Mayor for the SDGs and Tabaco City Mayor Krisel Lagman-Luistro; and LCP Secretary-General and Calapan City Mayor Arnan Panaligan.

Based on the available Situational Reports from the National Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (NDRRMC), a total of 64 cities have been affected by Typhoon Quinta, Rolly, and Ulysses.
