Managing the COVID-19 Pandemic in the Philippines: A Policy Sourcebook

By UP Resilience Institute
July 7, 2020 - Quezon City

What are the policies and measures we’ve taken to fight COVID-19 in the Philippines? Can you remember the government’s policy responses since the very beginning?

At the rate by which policies are made, implemented and changed, it is difficult for Filipinos to keep up and to keep track. This sourcebook of policy responses to the COVID-19 Pandemic is a collaborative product of the University of the Philippines - Resilience Institute’s (UPRI) Research and Creative Work team. It is an evolving work that will be updated monthly, as part of UPRI’s contribution to the efforts of the UP COVID-19 Pandemic Response Team and in pursuit of UP’s mandate as a public service university.

This comprehensive list is meant to help and inform the public, students, scholars, researchers, policymakers, and practitioners in the intersecting fields of public health, disaster risk management, and crisis governance, as we work together towards the day we can finally say: “We beat COVID-19. Congratulations Philippines!”
