Local Budget Circular No.125

The DBM has released Local Budget Circular (LBC) No. 125 called "Guidelines on the Release and Utilization of the Bayanihan Grant to Cities and Municipalities," which aims to boost the capacity of LGUs in immediately responding to the COVID-19 emergency.

 

The grant shall be equivalent to one-month FY 2020 Internal Revenue Allotment share of the cities and municipalities and shall be used for COVID-19-related programs, projects, and activities (PPAs) and expenses, such as procurement of personal protective equipment, COVID-19 testing kits, medicines, hospital equipment and supplies, disinfectants, food and transpo of medical personnel and LGU personnel directly involved with the implementation of COVID-19 PPAs, etc.
