LCP supports Iloilo City Mayor Jed Patrick E. Mabilog's bid to become one of this year's World Mayor

The League of Cities of the Philippines supports Iloilo City Mayor Jed Patrick E. Mabilog's bid to become one of this year's World Mayor Awardees.

To support Mayor Mabilog, you can do the following:

1. Write a short testimonial enumerating the reason/s why Mayor Mabilog should win the 2014 World Mayor Award and send it through email at iloilo@worldmayor.com. Please insert 'Iloilo Mabilog' in the subject line and provide your name and address at the end of your testimonial. The City Mayors board of fellows will choose the winner and two runner-ups based on the number of email votes received and the strength and passion of supporting testimonials. The organisers believe that the persuasiveness of argument is as important as the number of votes;

2. Share this to your friends and encourage them to support Mayor Mabilog.

About the World Mayor Awards:
The City Mayors Foundation, an international think tank dedicated to promoting strong and prosperous cities, as well as good local governance, organized and launched the World Mayor Prize in 2004. This prestigious award honors city mayors with the vision, passion and skills to make their cities sustainable urban centers and innovative laboratories that produce concrete solutions to various metropolitan issues like transportation, shelter, education and employment.
