1. OVERVIEW OF THE GOVERNMENT'S EFFORT IN ADDRESSING COVID-19

• PRRD extends gratitude to President Putin of Russia President Xi Jinping of China for offering vaccines once ready for distribution to the public.

• PH will buy the vaccines. However, with the financial limitation of the country, the country will seek credit from China and pay the cost of vaccines in installments.

• The DILG and NTF shall ensure that localized COVID-19 strategies are implemented.

5. PHILIPPINE HUMANITARIAN ASSISTANCE REGISTRY

Primary government website for information, inquiries, and procedures on all local and foreign humanitarian assistance to the Philippine government, including in-kind and financial donations and deployment of humanitarian workers

 

6. HEALTH SYSTEMS UPDATES (IATF-EID RESOLUTION NO. 64)

• Overseas deployment of the medical and allied health workers is temporarily suspended based on POEA Administration Governing Board Resolution No. 09, series of 2020.

• The DOH, all hospitals, and healthcare facilities of LGUs are ordered to hire additional medical and allied health workers to supplement current workforce.

The unprecedented landfall of three (3) tropical storms in three weeks or from October 25 to November 11 in the country has greatly affected our cities from Luzon. Based on the available Situational Reports from the National Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (NDRRMC), a total of 64 cities have been affected by Typhoon Quinta, Rolly, and Ulysses.
