 The League congratulates the cities of Bacolod, Davao, and Iloilo for being recognized as Centers of Excellence at the launch of Digital Cities 2025 organized by the DICT. These cities have maintained their status as the top IT-BPO destinations in the country.

 
We also would like to congratulate the cities of Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Dasmariñas, Dumaguete, Lipa, Naga, and Sta. Rosa for being cited as the Next Wave Cities.

The unprecedented landfall of three (3) tropical storms in three weeks or from October 25 to November 11 in the country has greatly affected our cities from Luzon. Based on the available Situational Reports from the National Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (NDRRMC), a total of 64 cities have been affected by Typhoon Quinta, Rolly, and Ulysses.
