Updates from the June 11, 2020 IATF-EID Briefing

 

1. GOV'T TO CONTINUE CONTACT TRACING AND MAXIMIZE STAYSAFEPH MOBILE PLATFORM

• DOH and Multisys to enter into an agreement for the donation and use of StaySafe.PH application.

• It was clarified that the main function of the online platform is limited to data collection. Such data must be stored and transferred to the COVID Kaya system of DOH.

• StaySafe.PH to comply with cybersecurity, data privacy and confidentiality laws.

• Multisys is given 30 days to comply.

 

2. REOPENING DINE-INs

• The DTI will release protocols for reopening dine-in food establishments.

• In GCQ areas, gradual reopening may begin on 15 June 2020 at 30\% operational capacity, provided that minimum public health standards are observed and post audit mechanism is conducted and monitored by DTI, DOLE, DOT, DOH, DILG, LGU Health Office, and other deputized orgs to assess compliance.

 

3. SALIENT POINTS FROM THE EXCHANGE BETWEEN PRRD AND INDIA PM MODI

• Both agreed to help each other fight COVID-19 and thanked each other for their support in repatriations.

• PRRD asked for India’s support on the ASEAN Response Fund for COVID 19.

• India to supply affordable pharmaceutical products to the Philippines, including hydroxychloroquine which is a medicine used to treat COVID-19 patients.

• PH is assured to benefit from the vaccine which is currently being developed by India.
