The League of Cities of the Philippines turns 32 today, 7 June 2020.

Here's a throwback from when city mayors celebrated, albeit belatedly, the LCP's 30th founding anniversary last 27 July 2018 in Pasay City.

The video that was played at the 30th anniversary celebration of the League last 27 July 2018, narrates the early beginnings of an association of cities in the country that primarily advocated for genuine local autonomy and showcases the value that the LCP has imparted to its member cities through the years.

With the theme, “Stronger Together at 30,” the event was the first time that the League commemorated its storied history since it was officially established in 1988.

Happy birthday, LCP!
